Toyota Lemon Law

Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc. (“Toyota”) is recalling 102,000 2022 – 2023 Toyota Tundra and Lexus LX vehicles because machining debris left during manufacturing might cause the engine to fail to start, knock, or lose power, potentially leading to accidents.

The recall affects only gas-powered models equipped with V35A engines that contain crankshaft main bearings. Toyota claims it is working on a fix, and that it will notify owners and lessees later this summer. In the meantime, Toyota Tundra and Lexus LX drivers can check the NHTSA website with their VIN number to find out if there are any pending recalls.

If you’re experiencing issues with a 2020 – 2024 Toyota or Lexus vehicle which have not been fixed in a reasonable number of attempts while under warranty, Joseph Kaufman and Associates can help you file a lemon claim seeking a repurchase or cash settlement.

Our team brings unparalleled experience and has recovered over $100 million on behalf of California consumers and vehicle owners like you.
