Tesla, Inc. is facing a class action lawsuit over defective touch screens in Model X and Model S vehicles. The lawsuit alleges that Tesla’s touch screen malfunctions while driving, disabling various essential features of the vehicles. This is particularly dangerous as the touch screen controls numerous functions while driving, putting those inside and outside the vehicle at risk.
Our office has represented many Tesla owners with similar issues and has successfully asserted lemon law claims when those problems occur multiple times during the warranty period. While this class action has only just been filed, individual lemon law claims are often a far better route for individual consumers than class action lawsuits, which tend to limit the lemon law rights of class members. If you own a Tesla Model X or Model S and have had touch screen or other issues that have not been repaired in a reasonable number of attempts, please contact our office for a free consultation.
