A class action lawsuit has been filed regarding transmission issues affecting 2018-2019 Honda Odyssey models equipped with 9-speed automatic transmission.
Plaintiffs state they have been experiencing delayed shifting, loud noises while shifting, rough shifting, rough acceleration/deceleration and sudden power loss issues which the manufacturer has failed to repair. The alleged problems are jeopardizing the safety of drivers when it comes to changing lanes, making turns, merging into traffic and accelerating from stops.
The manufacturer has so far declined to issue a recall or extend the warranty for that matter.
The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California: Browning, et al., v. American Honda Motor Co., Inc., et al.
