Ford Motor Company

Ford Motor Company is recalling over 169,000 vehicles because of a defect preventing the rearview camera from displaying images.

This is the third rearview camera related recall this year, following the recalls of 462,000 vehicles in January and 422,000 vehicles in May. While Ford claims that no injuries have been caused by this defect so far, this issue can reduce rearview visibility and increase the risk of an accident.

The models included in this recall are:

. 2020-2023 Lincoln Aviator
. 2021 Ford Bronco
. 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair
. 2020-2023 Ford Explorer
. 2018-2021 Lincoln Navigator
. 2022-2023 Ford Transit

Ford will notify the owners of the vehicles affected by this recall, and Ford will replace the faulty cameras and update software free of charge. In the meantime, you can check the NHTSA website with your VIN number or contact Ford directly to find out if your vehicle is included in this recall.
