The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating reports that 2021 Ford Bronco SUVs equipped with a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine might have a defective valvetrain causing the engine to fail.
While 32 defect reports have been filed with NHTSA, this issue could affect more than 25,000 Bronco models. While no recall has been announced yet, this is an issue that should be taken very seriously as it could lead to catastrophic engine failure at high speed.
Because the engine is covered by a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty, you should contact your local Ford dealership right away if your vehicle has been losing power while on the road.
If you own a Ford Bronco and are experiencing engine issues that have not been fixed in a reasonable number of attempts while under warranty, Lemon Law Aid can help you file a lemon claim to get it replaced or repurchased. For more information and a free consultation, fill out the form below.
