Chrysler Pacifica Lemon Law

If you purchased or leased a 2017-2021 Chrysler Pacifica in California and have experienced multiple repairs for transmission or stalling issues, it is important to opt out of the Moran et al. v. FCA US LLC class action before November 9, 2022, otherwise you will not be able to bring an individual lemon law claim for these transmission and/or stalling issues.

A class action lawsuit settlement has been reached regarding transmission and stalling issues affecting 2017-2021 Chrysler Pacifica models equipped with 3.6-liter V6 engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The class action was filed because Fiat Chrysler Automobiles sold vehicles equipped with faulty transmissions causing them to lose power and stall. While FCA issued a recall in January 2018 to repair the Class Pacificas, the vans continue to stall after the vehicles have allegedly been fixed.

If you wish to remain in the class action settlement, which delivers far less than a lemon law buyback or repurchase, you don’t need to do anything, and you might eventually be reimbursed for transmission repairs if you submit a reimbursement claim on time.

However, remaining in the class action means you will waive your lemon law rights, and lemon law claims typically provide far better results than class actions, including vehicle buybacks, additional monetary compensation, and other damages. If you do not opt out by November 9, 2022, you will not be able to bring any future lemon law claims related to 2017-2021 Chrysler Pacifica with automatic transmission defects.

If you own a 2017-2021 Chrysler Pacifica in California and are experiencing transmission, stalling, or any other issues that haven’t been fixed in a reasonable number of attempts while under warranty, Lemon Law Aid could potentially get your van replaced or repurchased.
