Chevy Cruze vehicles continue to have problems with coolant leaks from the water pump which lead to overheating and other conditions that damage the vehicle. In addition, those Cruze vehicles equipped with turbos have been know to suffer turbo-related defects resulting in serious loss of power issues.
These issues may manifest with the illumination of the check engine light, with an overheating condition, or in power loss. Despite being known issues General Motors and its authorized dealers have not been able to repair all Chevy Cruze vehicles with these defects. If unable to repair a coolant leak, water pump, overheating turbo, or check engine light defect in a reasonable number of attempts, California lemon law may require GM to repurchase or replace those vehicles under the lemon law.
If you purchased a 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, or 2019 Chevy Cruze vehicle and have taken it to a Chevy dealer more than once time for a mechanical issue, Lemon Law Aid can help you file a lemon claim to get your vehicle replaced or repurchased.
