The American magazine Consumer Reports has just released its list of the least reliable cars, updated for the end of 2024. The study was based on surveys sent to owners of 300,000+ vehicles. The survey covered safety systems, vehicle infotainment, engine performance as well as other aspects of the vehicles. Each vehicle’s reliability score is rated on a scale from 1 to 100.
Here is the list of the least reliable cars for 2024:
– Volkswagen ID.4 – 29/100
– Genesis G70 – 29/100
– Ford F-150 Lightning – 28/100
– Jeep Wrangler – 28/100
– Nissan Frontier – 27/100
– Jeep Grand Cherokee – 22/100
– Ford Escape Hybrid – 21/100
– Rivian R1T – 20/100
– Chevrolet Colorado – 20/100
– GMC Canyon – 15/100
– Ford F-150 Hybrid – 7/100
Unsurprisingly, the top 3 are some of our most common lemon law cases, with GM and Ford models taking most of the spots in this ranking.
Please note Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln, Lucid, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Mitsubishi, Polestar, Porsche, and Ram were not included in this Consumer Reports ranking because of insufficient data.
