FCA US LLC is having a major problem with its 2017 – 2019 Chrysler Pacifica model, which is plagued by stalling and loss of power defects that make those Pacifica vehicles dangerous to drive. FCA US LLC has taken the unusual step of trying to combine all pending 2017 – 2019 Chrysler Pacifica individual lemon law claims into one coordinated mass action, a sure sign that FCA US LLC has a serious safety defect on its hands.
Consumers who have bought or leased a 2017, 2018, or 2019 Chrysler Pacifica in California are protected by California’s lemon law, also known as the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. California’s lemon law requires that cars, minivans, or trucks with safety defects covered by the warranty be repurchased or replaced by the manufacturer. In seeking to coordinate all pending 2017 – 2019 Chrysler Pacifica cases, FCA US LLC is seemingly acknowledging the existence of a widespread stalling or loss of power defect that impacts them all, at least that is what the petition to coordinate seems to indicate. If the defect was not widespread and related, FCA US LLC would have no reason to seek coordination.
If you have a 2017 – 2019 Chrysler Pacifica and are experiencing stalling or loss of power issues, please contact our office for a free lemon law case evaluation. It seems based on FCA US LLC’s arguments in documents filed with the Court, and in line with our own independent investigation, some of these Pacifica vehicles seem riddled with dangerous safety defects that are covered by California’s lemon law.
