FCA US LLC continues to fight a class action shining light on its defective manual transmissions in 2013 to 2016 Dodge Dart vehicles. These vehicles are known to have defects in the design of the transmission that causes the vehicle’s clutch to go to the floor. FCA US LLC attempted to resolve an earlier claim involving the same defective vehicles with a voluntary service action, causing FCA US LLC to extend the warranty on the clutch master cylinder in certain Dodge Dart models. Needless to say, a defective clutch substantially impairs the use, value or safety of a vehicle and consumers with defective 2013 to 2016 Dodge Dart vehicles may be protected by California’s lemon law.
California consumers who have bought or leased 2013 to 2016 Dodge Dart vehicles with a Fiat C635 manual transmission may be entitled to have their lemons repurchase pursuant to California lemon law. If you own or lease a 2013 – 2016 Dodge Dart that has been serviced at a Dodge dealer more than once for this or other issues, FCA US LLC may be obligated to give you a refund in compliance with California’s lemon law. If you own or lease an impacted vehicle, please contact us for a free case evaluation.
